Who I am: I am an 18 y/o South African born Australian citizen convert who enjoys computers, programming, squash, long walks on the beach and water spor--- er, sorry, got a bit carried away.
Where I live: The beautiful city of Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia.
What I do: Currently, I'm in my first year of an undergraduate Batchelor of Computer Systems Engineering. As I write this I should be studying for a Calculus and Linear Algebra exam, but I find vector spaces and eigenvectors somewhat boring when considered in a pure mathematical context -- would prefer to see some practical uses. Anyway, that's besides the point.
What I'm currently working on: Well, I haven't actually got any specific coding projects at the moment. I haven't coded in anything other than Java for quite some time, but I'm looking forward to getting back into C. I have a systems architecture subject next semester which will allow me to revisit and refine my C and assembly skills -- both of which I developed a few years ago and have since severely neglected.
I haven't got any personal sites up at the moment, as, well, I really can't be bothered. In fact, this is about the extent my web presence (unless you count the dozens of pages of Usenet posts I wrote when I was 12 you'll find by searching my name on http://groups.google.com).
Oh, I don't care whether you read this or not. I'm bored, and procrastinating... so there.
