The primary goal of the NetBSD project is to make an operating system that is extremely portable. Currently, NetBSD runs on 21 different kinds of computers. For example, you can use NetBSD on x86, x86 64-bit, MIPS, Alpha, M68K, ARM, PowerPC, HP9000, SPARC, VAX, etc. With NetBSD, you can turn your Play Station 2 into a unix server.
